What she makes

School dinner pudding,
done properly.

Old school cake

A nostalgic sponge. This is the one people look for when the van pulls up.

Coconut and jam sponge

Another homemade sponge, coconut and jam.

Crumbles

Homemade, and sold from the van with the rest of the tray.

Hot custard

An extra, poured over. A customer asked for it. It stuck.

How it started

The oven in the van did not work out. The custard did.

Amy started Just BAKED in 2024. The original plan was to fit an oven into the catering van and cook on the move. That turned out not to be feasible, so she pivoted: bake at home, take the van out to pop ups instead.

A customer suggested serving the old school cake with hot custard. She did. That pairing is what she is known for now.

The Forth Valley Food Guy visited one of her pop ups at Antonine Primary School in Bonnybridge and posted about it. After that, more people found her.

“Being a new business, I am very grateful for the amazing review and happy to hear that people are enjoying my home made goodies.” Amy Turnbull

Where to find her

Follow the van.

She has no shop and no set days on a high street. She announces where the van will be on Facebook. These are places she has actually been, not a timetable.

The live list is the Facebook page.
